Question and Answer Event - Ilchester Town Hall: Thursday 7 December, between 4 and 6pm

We have recently changed the opening hours at Ilchester Surgery to: Monday to Friday 9 am - 4 pm.  Ilchester registered patients are also able to access new services at Buttercross Health Centre in Somerton. Find out more information on our latest news page.

Please note, the surgery currently closes between 1 and 2 pm daily for staff training and essential administration.

At Ilchester Surgery each patient has their own named GP. You can however see any doctor of your choice. Please contact the surgery if you do not know who your named doctor is and our reception staff will be pleased to advise you.

New Patient Registration

registration

We are now offering a joint service for our patients at both Ilchester Surgery and Buttercross Health Centre.

Both practices are part of Symphony Healthcare Services, a larger NHS healthcare organisation.  This means that we can offer services for our patients in the local area, across both sites, to help improve flexibility and services.

You can choose to register at either practice and use our joint switchboard to book appointments at either location, by calling 01458 272473 or 01935 840207

Patients living within a 5 mile radius of the centre of Ilchester fall within the practice area for registration purposes.  If you live closer to Somerton, you may prefer to register there, although patients can book appointments at either location.  If you have any questions or need advice on how to register, please call the practice.

The healthcare team at Ilchester Surgery and Buttercross Health Centre are welcoming new patients who live within our practice area.  If you have your medical card, bring it along to the surgery and the receptionists will give you a registration form to complete. We ask you to fill in a short health questionnaire.

Please contact reception for further information and to check the area we are currently accepting patients for registration.
